6 days until Christmas!

Week 8

I am now 8 weeks pregnant! Last Thursday (12/6/12) Andy and I went to an outpatient clinic for an ultrasound! We got to see our little blueberry's heartbeat and everything! It was a really special moment and made the whole pregnancy seem even more real! 

So far, we have only announced the news to my immediate family, Andy's immediate family, and my family's hairdresser because my Dad didn't know he wasn't supposed to tell anyone. Working on ideas for sharing the news, but my favorite one so far is a Christmas card announcement.  Andy's mom is a professional photographer, and she graciously offered to take a few snapshots of us with the ultrasound to share the good news! Super psyched about this, and will have some fun pics to share by next week hopefully!

By now, you’ve gathered that my husband and I are expecting our first little peanut.  Such exciting times need to be documented. While I’m a little old-fashioned and have already started a written journal to keep notes, I also wanted to share a few things with you along the way (news, pictures, articles, questions, etc)!
